note to self
When in doubt, pick all of the above. Either that or shoot for all and the one that fits will fall into place as it should. Right? Ok….just gotta keep reminding myself that.

Mental detox
In search for a bit peace of mind (and thanks to Mia’s awesome idea) I decided to try a sort of experiment on mental detoxing. I’ve deactivated my Facebook, set a TV and online schedule for myself, and yes, will even start a strict workout regimen.
Not sure how long I’ll last but cheers to the challenge!
Follow your heart, but be quiet for a while first. Ask questions, then feel the...
life without the internet=death? →
OK maybe my title was a bit exaggerated but I thought this was a really interesting read. The other day my coworker and I were talking and somewhat laughing about her mom’s request to print and mail a list of directions to a clinic. Her mom lives in the heart of rural California and had no access to the internet so she had to wait a few days for my coworker to mail her directions. If the...
When I get done with this project, I am seriously getting wasted and throwing a party for everyone. ARGH!!!!
Today was the last day of my eyecandy at work. Goodbye seriously cute and buff attorney who worked upstairs. I do hope we meet again!
OK. What's next?

That’s what you say at 25. You don’t say, Oh, poor me, my life has passed me by and I’ve missed out on everything and for some reason I don’t feel satisfied. No. Don’t even say that. Not at 25. At 25, this is all you say. You say:
OK, what’s next?
OK?
Remember: The only question you have to answer is:
OK, what’s next?

So my cousin Liana moved from the Philippines to Belgium on a (sort of) whim. She took up golf and photography as a hobby and ended up meeting the love of her life through her artwork. Now they live in London happily ever after, running a lomography shop and sharing their passion. Follow the link to check out her story. It’s the stuff that makes you go “aaaawwww!” That slogan...

GAH!
This will be a quick rant but I spent 4 agonizing days calculating, re-calculating and staring over our fiscal year end reports at work. My coworker kept saying my math was wrong and I screwed up on my pivot tables and spreadsheets somewhere, so I kept double checking my work to figure out where my formula was wrong. It tore me to pieces thinking I could have screwed up on several thousand...

Khoda
by Reza Dolatabadi What if you watch a film and whenever you pause it, you face a painting? This idea inspired Reza Dolatabadi to make Khoda. Over 6000 paintings were painstakingly produced during two years to create a five minutes film that would meet high personal standards. Khoda is a psychological thriller; a student project which was seen as a ‘mission impossible’ by...

….with running. I sort of a have a love hate relationship with running. Some days running is my best antidote for everything, other days I get so lazy I can barely even think of pacing one foot in front of the other.
This was a good article about getting back into gear and another reminder that “the best views are brought to you by running shoes.”
