This has been on my drafts for a while but since it’s June 30 and half the year has gone by I might as well do it before I miss out on the rest of the year.

Refocusing
One thing I really have to do is train my mind to stop being so scatterbrained and focus on things in front of me. Life sure is overwhelming, and everything is more enticing than the other. But I need to stop spoiling and treating myself to laziness when the rest of life is waiting.

Whew!!! I FINALLY figured out my answer for what I want to do next in life. It will be a big and scary leap of faith, but oddly, I’m finally at peace and happy with myself every time I think about it.

I learned a new word today: joyfear. Yes, it’s a compound word on purpose. It’s that feeling that life suddenly has a new meaning, like a single defining moment filled with intense joy and intense fear.
